Mission Hugs, Inc, a 501-C3 non-profit organization has spent the past five years helping families with lighten the responsibilities and challenges they face while rearing children with fragile medical needs or other handicaps.  Each year, and throughout the year, this organization has reached out to the community and those who are compassionate to our mission to help fund the various projects and areas of subsidy needed by these families.

In the past we have been able to help with modified equipment, special care facilities, financial assistance for emergency spending, medicine co-pays, and other services that challenge these families beyond the usual day to day living.

This year, on November 3, at noon at the new Birmingham Crossplex, we will embark upon our fourth annual capital campaign.  Our “ SPECIAL GEMS FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN’   luncheon will feature a silent auction of dazzling items  with sparkle, featured entertainment, and a special program honoring some of the elderly people of our community who have made outstanding contributions to mankind throughout their lifetime.
